Natesan Institute of Cooperative Management, Chennai (NICM), is an autonomous institution under the National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT), New Delhi, and is promoted by the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India. NICM specializes in the field of Management training in Tamil Nadu.

Our institute conducts various programs such as Management Development Programmes (MDPs), Higher Diploma in Cooperative Management (HDCM), and Master of Business Administration (MBA).

MDPs are short-term training programs designed for cooperative institutions and government department officers involved in cooperative development in Tamil Nadu. These programs, ranging from two days to two weeks, cover topics such as Law, Audit, Costing and Pricing, Functional Management areas, Formation and Management of SHGs and JLGs, Leadership Development Programs, Customer Management, Tax Matters, etc.

HDCM is a 26-week and 36-week program recognized as an essential entry-level qualification for employment in cooperatives and the Department of Cooperation. It is endorsed by the Government of Tamil Nadu and other states, with 91 batches having successfully completed the program.

Our MBA program, initiated in 2008 and affiliated with the University of Madras, offers dual specialization in HR, Marketing, Finance, and Systems Management. We are inviting applications from interested candidates for the position of Lecturer/Assistant Professor on a contract basis.

Here are the details:
1. Qualifications: Candidates should have a Post Graduate degree in Management/Cooperative Management/Commerce with a minimum of 55% marks and a passion for teaching/training/consultancy work.
2. NET/SLET/Ph.D. in teaching and work experience are desirable.
3. Age Limit: Should not exceed 65 years as on 1.1.2023.
4. The remuneration begins at a consolidated pay of Rs. 35,000 for entry-level Lecturers and progresses based on the individual’s experience in the field.
5. Service Conditions: Appointment is on a purely contract basis for 11 months, extendable at the discretion of NCCT. Contract appointment does not confer any right or claim for regular appointment in the future.
