Natesan Institute of Cooperative Management, Chennai (NICM), is part of the PAN India network of Twenty Institutes of Cooperative Management of National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT), New Delhi, under the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India. NICM specializes in the field of Cooperative Education & Management Training and Research.
Our institute conducts various training programs such as Management Development Programmes (MDPs), Higher Diploma in Cooperative Management (HDCM), Sectoral Diploma Programmes like DICM, DMDC, DHCM, Leadership Development Programmes, Cooperative Awareness Programmes for Members, Youth and Women. The Institute also run two-year Full Time Professional Course MBA since 2008.
The MDPs are training programs designed for cooperative institutions and Government department officers involved in cooperative development in Tamil Nadu. These programs, ranging from two days to two weeks, cover topics such as Cooperative Law, Banking, Audit, Functional Management areas like Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology etc.
HDCM is a 36-week training program recognized as an essential entry-level qualification for employment in cooperatives and the Department of Cooperation. It is endorsed by the Government of Tamil Nadu and other states, with 96 batches having successfully completed the course. Our MBA program, initiated in 2008 and affiliated with the University of Madras, offers dual specialization in HR, Marketing, Finance, and Logistics Management. We are inviting applications from interested candidates for the position of Lecturers on contract basis as detailed below.

General Conditions for engagement of Lecturers will be as under;
- Selection will be made on the basis of qualifications, experience & performance in the Interview and presentation
- He/she will not be entitled to get any other allowance or terminal benefits for the service rendered on contract basis. However, TA as per Rules will be paid in case of official tour.
- The offer of appointment to the selected candidates will be subject to verification of certificates/ testimonials at the time of joining and on completion of other formalities.
- Selected persons will be required to give an undertaking that he/she will not make any claim for regularization of his/her contract services at NICM Chennai
- Lecturer shall not take up any other outside assignment of any nature during the period of engagement at NICM Chennai
- If any declaration given or information furnished by the candidate found to be false or if the candidates is found to have wilfully suppressed any material information, he/she will be liable for termination in addition to any legal action as NCCT may deem fit.
- The Director NICM Chennai reserves the right to accept or reject the applications without assigning any reasons
- In case the performance of the person so appointed is found unsatisfactory, his/her services will be terminated any time after giving one month’s notice without giving any reason there of or pay in lieu thereof. Such person may also leave the contractual appointment after giving one month’s notice or pay in lieu thereof, if so desires.
