NICM, Chennai: As a part of the celebration of the 5th anniversary of Ministry of Cooperation, Govt. of India, the institute organized a Women’s Awareness Programme on the “Role of Women in Cooperatives” in collaboration with the District Cooperative Union, Chennai, on 1st July, 2026, at NICM Conference Hall. Shri I. Venkatesh, Director i/c, and the Faculty Members interacted with the participants, highlighting the opportunities for women in cooperatives and the need for them to take cooperatives to the next level. Dr. M. Ragubalan, Faculty Member, coordinated the event. 38 women participants benefited from the programme.
